FAQs
Can I use a comb on my dog if they have heavy mats?
Yes, but you must use a specialized dematting rake like this dual-sided tool. Use the wider side to gently break apart the mats first, ensuring you do not pull hard on the skin, before using the finer side to deshed.
Is this dual-sided grooming tool safe for short-haired cats?
While it is specifically optimized for long-haired and thick-coated breeds, it can be used very gently on short-haired pets to thin out their undercoat during seasonal shedding phases.
How often should I use this undercoat rake on my pet?
For best results, use it two to three times a week during regular maintenance. You can increase the frequency during peak shedding seasons to keep loose fur under control.
