    Working so far....

    Well, I started using this for my dog to help him with his Lymphoma and I had heard really great reviews from other pet owners. So far, I have to say that although it did does work my dogs lymphoma by the time we started him on this was ROARING. We put him through CHOP and he had horrible side effects and almost died. We took him off just shy of his last treatment and now he is at home chemo and the artemesinin. Currently, it is controlled and he is in remission. We gave it for 6 weeks then we started giving it every other day artemesinin cannot be given continuosly or it will lose its effectiveness along with moducare vet from Thorne and so far that and changing his diet to a completely home made diet with supplements and fish oil his is still with us. It is my hope that he continues to do so. He still has one lymph node that grew so fast that has necrotic tissue in it and so that one will always appear the oncologist told us as a bit larger. His other lymph nodes have remained unremarkable. What I have learned from cancer is that perhaps to some degree we all have it and its how our bodies handle it that is the determining factor. We don't know what goes on at a cellulular level but we know when cancer is present and what the body is NOT doing right. So, we chose to support him the best way possible through all of these and hopefully his body can become more efficient at dealing with the mutated cells and perhaps expand his time with us. I will update at time goes by. It has been 6 months since he was diagnosed, he was diganosed in June of 2013. Its going to be a new year, our boy is still with us.

    Dog with prostate cancer

    I have a dog with prostate cancer. He was diagnosed last July (2016) I put him on homeopathic medicine instead of going for chemo. The vet gave him 2 months, 4-5 with chemo. We didn't want to make his last few months miserable, but I felt like we should do something about it. After A TON of research I have him on Artemisia absinthium, Reishi mushroom, and "Teapills" Minor Bupleurum Xiao Chai Hu Wan. He is almost at his one year mark of being diagnosed. Thought I'd get that out there, since it took me weeks to figure out the right herbal medicine, and the dosage. This is what I give him for dosage. He is 10 years old and weights 75 pounds. I give them to him 11 days, then a three day break cycle.Twice a day- AM/PMAM- *4 "tea pills" Minor Bupleurum Teapills, Xiao Chai Hu Wan, , 1 Reishi, 1 Artemisia absinthium (Wormwood) in the AMPM- *4 "tea pills", 1 Reishi, 1 Artemisia absinthium (Wormwood)*I am in no way saying I am a vet, you should ALWAYS talk to your pets vet first. Just telling my story, if I can help others, and it works... then AWESOME!

    Canine Osteosarcoma, decent results

    I purchased this for my 13 yo Shepherd who has osteosarcoma. I am giving this to her in conjuction with butyrate. At first we gave the artemisinin alone, but when we added butyrate the tumor shrank significantly. She is also taking beta glucan and AHCC to boost her immune system as well as taking cottage cheese and flax oil every morning. I do believe the butyrate has provided the syncergist effect for the artemisinin. These 2 items are recommended to be given together by the rearchers at Washington State University, who have done studies on the effect of artemisinin on osteosarcome. There study is available on line with a simple google search. The dog is no longer on any pain meds except for previcox, and is bearing full weight. Her vet was extremely pleased with her progress. I have read from several source that this artemisinin is supplied by Holly Pharmaceuticals. i have not verifited this with the manufacturer. We are very pleased with the results. This is a good price for the product, and our dog is doing very well
