    Good product, just needs time

    I tried the Dr. Melaxin TX Kojic Acid Turmeric Toner Pad and overall I liked it. They are very convenient to use and leave my skin feeling soft and refreshed.After a couple of weeks, I noticed a bit more brightness, although dark spots don't fade quickly, so you have to be consistent. It didn't irritate my skin, but if you have very sensitive skin, it might be better to use it less often.The only thing is that I expected faster results, but it still does its job.

    Fight hyperpigmentation without irritation

    These toner pads are formulated with several brightening ingredients: niacinamide, tranexamic acid, kojic acid, turmeric extract and glutathione. They also contain mildly exfoliating ingredients - such gluconolactone (PHA) and glycolic acid (AHA) - which help slough off dead skin cells, to allow the brightening ingredients to absorb. But in addition to all that, they also contain a plethora of hydrating and soothing ingredients, such as: panthenol, several botanical oils, multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica, etc. (Full ingredient list in my photo.) So there's quite a slew of active ingredients at work, each time I swipe one of these on my face - but I experienced no irritation or any adverse effects. Superb quality. There is actually a smooth side and a textured side; smooth can be used as a targeted toner pack (leaving for 3-5 minutes), while textured side is good for wiping the entire face. Stickiness is minimal, scent is subtle if any. Price point is good for such workhorse toner pads. Looking forward to seeing the benefits with long term use!

    Great for acne marks

    I tried these for 2 weeks on 3 different skin tone issues...healing acne discoloration, sunspots/freckles, and melasma. The melasma on my forehead is honestly barely visible at this point and doesn't really show well in photos. I have mostly cleared that with bakuchiol. These worked very well for the acne spots, and I feel like they did brighten my skin and minimize the appearance of my pores. I didn't see much improvement on the sunspots or melasma, but as those are deeper skin issues, that may be a time consideration. I just didn't want to wait so long before before and after photos that the acne marks had just healed naturally. I kind of wish I'd have used these on some marks and not others to compare, but they definitely faded faster than they typically do. I am 40 and still get acne pretty much monthly as part of PMS. I also have very fair skin, so any tiny blemish shows terribly. Couple that with my tendency to pick, and I'll use any help I can get. My only complaint is that unless you lay down, it is hard to get these to sit on your face a few minutes like the instructions suggest. Most of the time, I just used them as a wipe as a result. I kind of like the smell too, spicy almost. That's probably the tumeric. A is after and B is before in the photos. I included the melasma forehead one even though you can't really see it.
