FAQs
What type of surface (wood, concrete, brick) are you treating?
This versatile neutralizer is safe and effective on a wide variety of alkaline surfaces, including wood, brick, concrete, stone, plaster, stucco, and metal.
Are you trying to remove an old coating/mill glaze or neutralize after stripping?
The formula serves dual purposes: it lowers high surface alkalinity after using alkaline paint strippers like Peel Away 1, and it strips stubborn mill glaze from new lumber prior to painting or staining.
How do you apply this powder treatment?
Simply dissolve the 4 ounce packet into 1 quart of warm water, apply using a pump sprayer or brush, scrub the wet surface with a nylon tool, and rinse thoroughly.
Are these USA-imported Dumond products authentic on Dropy India?
Yes, Dropy sources 100% authentic USA-imported beauty, skincare, and home care products directly from the United States for customers across India.
Why is pH neutralization necessary before painting?
High alkalinity left behind by strippers can interfere with new paint adhesion and cause premature peeling, making neutralizer application a crucial preparation step.
