  Perfect Size & Thickness

  The directions say to rinse the cloth under warm water, squeeze out excess, then use it to sweep away product. I added oil cleanser to my bare face, rubbed it around, ran the cloth under warm water (it soaked up water almost immediately), squeezed out the excess, and wiped my face. It was mildly exfoliating yet gentle and seemed to remove about 99% of the oil cleanser from my face. It left my face smooth and non-oily. Still, as a precaution, I followed up with a water-based cleanser just to make sure I got everything. I rinsed the cloth under warm water again, squeezed out the excess, and left it to dry on top of a rack. It does not smell like anything, so I assume it's still pretty clean. I have to admit, these cloths are the perfect size for a facial cloth. They are aesthetically pleasing to look at, minimalistic with a touch of elegance; they definitely do not feel or look cheap. They are not too thin, but not so thick that they'd be hard to clean and dry. All around, a product that does what it is advertised to do perfectly.

  i need everyone to be honest with themselves for a moment.removing a clay mask is not the peaceful spa experience skincare brands keep advertising.it's usually you standing at the sink rubbing your face with a towel like you're trying to erase a chalkboard. mask stuck everywhere. towel dragging. pores fighting for their lives. the relaxing facial energy absolutely destroyed.these little elemis cloths show up and immediately solve the problem like two very polite spa employees.the cotton is loose and fluffy lightweight, which sounds boring until you realise what it actually does. you run the cloth under warm water, press it onto your face, and suddenly the mask just… softens. melts. gives up.no scrubbing. no aggressive towel friction. no accidentally exfoliating your entire skin barrier off in the name of "self care".it's basically the at-home version of when a facialist lays a warm towel over your face at a spa and you briefly consider moving in permanently. and i swear these towels actually hold on to heat better than normal towels.they're also excellent with the elemis cleansing balms i have, as well as non elemis cleansing balms i own. i'm a skincare addict and love to treat my skin to the luxurious experience it deserves after surviving in the city. these make double cleansing a breeze. balm melts makeup, you add water, then the cloth lifts everything off cleanly instead of smearing cleanser around your face like certain towels love to do.and they're soft. not "soft for two washes then emotionally distant dishcloth". actual soft.the duo comes with one white cloth and one grey cloth which is oddly practical because you can assign roles. my white one handles masks and cleansers. the grey one deals with the more chaotic makeup removal nights.everyone has their responsibilities in this household.quick laundry tip from someone who wants you to protect your investments: wash them inside a small delicate garment bag so the fibres don't get roughed up by zippers and jeans.tiny towels. extremely competent.✨tl;dr✨soft cotton cleansing cloths that hold heat really well, which makes removing clay masks and cleansing balms much easier and gentler on your skin. they create a little spa-like warm compress moment instead of forcing you to scrub your face with a normal towel. washing them in a garment bag helps keep the fibres soft.

  Can't believe I wasn't using this before

  I got these cleansing cloths to use with my cleansers, and honestly, it's one of those things I didn't know I needed until I tried it. I couldn't believe I hadn't been using something like this before. The cloths are soft on the skin but still do a really good job of gently removing makeup and cleanser without feeling harsh. They hold up well after washing and don't get rough or worn out quickly. It just makes my skincare routine feel a little more complete and effective overall. Simple product, but it made a bigger difference than I expected. I like the colors and the gentleness of them, but they do seem to be on the pricier side.
