    Finally, a dupe that might be better than the original!I have been a loyal user of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade for years, but the ever-increasing price tag had me looking for an alternative. I decided to try the e.l.f. Lock On Brow Cream on a whim, and I am absolutely blown away.Let's get the big comparison out of the way: This performs JUST AS WELL, if not better, than the high-end brand that costs triple the price. The texture is fantastic-it's creamy and smooth, making it incredibly easy to apply with an angled brush. It doesn't pull or tug on the brows at all.The pigmentation is perfect. It's intense enough to create bold, defined brows, but it's not so opaque that it looks unnatural. You can build it up for a dramatic look or use a light hand for a soft, feathered effect. Best of all, it dries down completely and DOES. NOT. BUDGE. I've worked a full 10-hour day and even worked out, and my brows still look freshly done. No smudging, no fading, nothing.The shade range is also excellent.     Exactly what I expected…in a good way!

    The product goes on easily. I purchased a new brow brush which has made a difference. I will admit that the first time I applied it, I was a bit heavy handed and looked somewhat clownish, but that was an easy fix. One thing I would say is to order a shade lighter than your natural brows. I am a brunette with black brows but went with medium brown. I still have to use the brush end to tame the color a bit. I learned this the hard way in the past so tried the medium brown first. All is well.
