Description
The Emgykit MD319 NOAA Weather Alert Radio is a premium home emergency preparedness device designed to keep you and your family safe during unpredictable hazard events. By leveraging Specific Area Message Encoding technology, this localized radio filters out distant, irrelevant warnings and zeroes in precisely on the specific geographical regions you program, eliminating unnecessary false alarms.
It accesses all seven National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration weather bands to broadcast up to the minute hazard information including severe storms, heavy floods, and civil emergencies. The multi mode notification system lets you customize your response, choosing between a loud ninety plus decibel siren, a clear voice broadcast, or a silent light emitting diode flashing warning light that is perfect for nighttime alerts or the hearing impaired.
Operating primarily on standard alternating current power with a reliable four Double A battery backup system, this emergency device ensures more than seventy two hours of continuous operation during blackouts and critical power outages. It also pulls double duty as a convenient digital desktop alarm clock with a built in snooze function and features an external telescopic antenna to maintain crisp reception even in fringe or remote areas.
How to use
- Plug the device into a standard wall outlet using the included power cable and insert four Double A batteries for continuous backup protection.

Just right what we wished for!
Great weather radio. My daughter loves it and it was pretty simple to set up and program. The manual that comes with it was pretty simple to understand. There are tons of alert features that can be enabled and disabled, which is nice. Highly recommend.

Just as fine as Midland, lower rate, comes with more features included.
I've been using these S.A.M.E. All Hazards radios for many years. Started with Midland WR-300 'deluxe' style, both died right outside warranty. No longer sold by Midland, probably because such rubbish. Still using a Midland W120, but wanted one for upstairs so I don't sleep through an event without knowing about it.This Emgykit MD319 is just as good as the Midland W120, looks better (not a big white thing), and speaker of better quality, sounds much better than my Midland radios did/do. And most importantly, COMES with an external alert strobe, great for my hearing loss so as not to miss an alert. Also COMES with an external wire antenna that plugs into RCA jack on back. The bonus alert strobe alone makes this a great value, the one Midland sells separately costs almost as much as this entire radio kit! Has all the features the Midland does, and if it lasts, will be the only brand I buy from now on.

Superb Radio - Excellent Value
This weather radio is way better than the Midland one I had for years. I love that it has an external antenna that is a wire I can loop up on my shelf. Great reception! Also, it comes with an external flashing light for when you have headphones on. What a great little weather radio! It's small enough to fit just about anywhere. A great bargain, and has way more features than my old one. The Midland is still selling out there at a ridiculous price. This one was 27% cheaper, and is a much better radio with the added external antenna & light.

Works adequately, worth the cash.
Radio works really well. Have never missed an alert. Was easy to program with clear instructions. A great replacement for my old Radio Shack one.
