Description
The Equinavia Brisk Mesh Horse Fly Sheet provides comprehensive summer protection for your horse during turnout. Made from premium, lightweight poly micro-mesh fabric, it creates an effective barrier against biting insects, flies, and bugs while maximizing airflow to prevent overheating in warm weather conditions.
The innovative material provides UPF 45 sun protection, blocking seventy percent of harmful ultraviolet rays to shield your horse from coat bleaching and skin irritation. Designed for maximum body coverage, this protective sheet features an extended drop and an oversized tail flap.
It includes a versatile, detachable full neck cover equipped with a shoulder hook and loop attachment system that ensures a secure, gap-free fit. To prevent shifting and rubbing during movement, the sheet is engineered with dual adjustable cross surcingles and removable elastic front leg straps, offering a snug, comfortable, and stable fit tailored for performance horses.
How to use
- Place the fly sheet over your horse's back, centering it along the spine.
- Fasten the front chest closures securely but allow room for shoulder movement.
- Fasten the two cross surcingles underneath the belly, ensuring they cross in the middle and leave a hand's width of space.
- Attach the removable elastic leg straps around the hind legs, looping them through each other to prevent chafing.
- If extra protection is needed, align the detachable neck cover along the neck line and press the hook and loop attachments firmly together into the shoulder area.

FAQs
How do I measure my horse to ensure the 78-inch size is the perfect fit?
Measure your horse from the center of the chest, along the side of the body to the rear of the hindquarter just before the tail. If the total distance measures seventy-eight inches, this size will provide the intended coverage and fit.
Can this fly sheet be washed in a standard washing machine?
Yes, it can be machine washed using cold water and a mild detergent on a gentle cycle. It is highly recommended to secure all hook and loop straps and place the sheet in a mesh laundry bag before washing to prevent tangling.
Does the silver gray color help with temperature control?
Yes, the light silver gray color is highly reflective and helps bounce sunlight away from your horse's body. This minimizes solar heat absorption, keeping your horse cooler than they would be in darker colored sheets.
Is this Equinavia fly sheet an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is a one hundred percent authentic Equinavia product imported directly from the United States. Dropy sources these equestrian items straight from premium USA suppliers to ensure genuine quality for Indian horse owners.
Can the horse wear this fly sheet out in the rain?
This product is made of an open micro-mesh material designed specifically for airflow and fly protection, so it is not waterproof. If it rains, the water will pass through, though the polyester material dries out very quickly.
