Product details
Description
Upgrade your drumming setup with the Evans PureSound Equalizer Snare Wire, engineered specifically for 13-inch snare drums. Featuring a 16-strand medium-gauge steel configuration, this accessory utilizes an innovative off-set design with a removed center section.
By eliminating the middle wires, it reduces unwanted vibration and sympathetic buzz from nearby drums and bass frequencies, allowing the natural acoustic shell tone of your drum to shine through. The result is a much drier, crisper, and cleaner attack that gives drummers precise articulation across various musical genres.
Designed and manufactured in the United States, this professional-grade drum hardware integrates seamlessly with standard snare beds to optimize your overall sound and response.
How to use
- Loosen the snare strainer throw-off and tension knob on your snare drum.
- Remove the old snare wires from the butt plate and strainer straps.
- Center the Evans PureSound Equalizer snare wires evenly across the bottom snare head.
- Secure the straps or cords through the end clips, ensuring proper alignment, and adjust the tension until you achieve your desired crispness and snare response.
