Judging from the reviews different people use these for different things. My thoughts:(1) I use them while testing for blood sugar.(2) Before I bought these I used BD Alcohol Swabs, purchased from Dropy.(3) BD Alcohol Swabs are THICKER than these ERs. About twice as thick, I estimate. The box containing 200 ER Alcohol Swabs is barely larger than the box for 100 BD Alcohol Swabs. If you want/need thick ones, these may not be for you.(4) These are nicely/fully saturated with Alcohol. They work fine to clean off my finger for a blood test. The Alcohol does NOT dry out during the testing procedure.Happy with them.Recommended.
