FAQs
What is the difference between en-EL9 and EN-EL9a?
The primary difference lies in the capacity, with the EN-EL9a generally offering a slightly higher milliampere-hour rating than the standard EN-EL9. However, both share identical physical dimensions and voltages, making them completely interchangeable in compatible camera models.
Which Nikon cameras use the EN-EL9 battery?
This battery model is widely used in several entry-level Nikon digital SLR cameras. It is fully compatible with the Nikon D40, D40x, D60, D3000, and D5000 models.
Can I charge my Nikon camera battery without a charger?
No, these specific camera models do not support in-camera charging via a USB cable connected to the body. You must remove the lithium-ion pack and place it into an external dual or single slot charger to replenish its power.
Is this FCDAZR battery kit an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this product is an authentic USA import sourced directly from American distributors. Dropy ensures that Indian customers receive genuine, high-quality international photography accessories delivered straight to their doorstep.
What kind of charger does the Nikon D40 use?
