FAQs
What is a roller chain sprocket?
A roller chain sprocket is a profiled wheel with teeth that meshes with a roller chain to transmit rotary motion between two shafts. It is a fundamental component used in industrial machinery, robotics, and power transmission assemblies.
What size is a 25 roller chain?
A number 25 roller chain features a 1/4 inch pitch, which is the distance between the centers of two adjacent rollers. It is commonly used in small-scale machinery, automation projects, and light-duty power transmission.
Does this sprocket require a keyway?
No, this model does not feature a standard keyway. Instead, it relies on two set screws positioned at 90 degrees on the Type B hub to fasten securely onto an 8mm round shaft.
