FAQs
Which comb is best for cat hair?
A self-cleaning slicker brush with fine, bent stainless steel pins is excellent for cat hair. It safely penetrates the undercoat to remove trapped, loose fur and untangle mats without irritating the skin.
Which is better for cats, a comb or a brush?
Both serve unique purposes, but a slicker brush is generally better for everyday shedding control and removing deep loose undercoat hair. A standard comb is highly effective for targeting specific knots and finishing the coat.
How many times to comb a cat?
It is recommended to brush short-haired indoor cats two to three times a week to manage shedding. For long-haired breeds, daily brushing is ideal to prevent painful mats and tangles from developing.
