Description
The Fotodiox 30mm to 37mm Step-Up Ring is a precision-engineered lens adapter designed to bridge the gap between small-diameter camera lenses and larger optical filters or accessories. Engineered specifically for lenses with a 30mm front thread size, this adapter allows photographers and videographers to seamlessly attach standard 37mm filters, lens hoods, macro converters, and optical attachments without needing to purchase duplicate accessories in multiple thread sizes.
Crafted from high-grade anodized aluminum alloy, this step-up ring provides maximum structural durability while remaining lightweight on the camera body. The surface features a matte black anodized finish that minimizes internal glare, reflections, and stray light leaks during exposures. Each adapter is precision-machined with standard 0.75mm thread pitch dimensions to guarantee smooth, effortless mounting onto lens barrels while preventing binding, cross-threading, or accidental loosening.
Ideal for mirrorless cameras, vintage lenses, mobile gear setups, and compact camcorders, this step-up ring provides an efficient solution for expanding optical capabilities. Sourced as an authentic USA import, it ensures exact thread tolerances and long-term reliability for photography enthusiasts and working professionals across India.

FAQs
What is the function of a 30mm to 37mm step-up ring?
A step-up ring allows you to attach larger 37mm filters, lens hoods, or optical accessories onto a camera lens with a smaller 30mm front filter thread.
Will using a step-up ring cause vignetting on images?
Step-up rings generally do not cause vignetting because they adapt to a larger filter size, moving the frame of the filter further away from the optical path of the lens.
Is the Fotodiox 30mm to 37mm Step-Up Ring made of metal or plastic?
This adapter ring is constructed from high-quality anodized black aluminum, offering enhanced durability compared to plastic rings.
