FAQs
Would you like to know about automatic extension tubes that support autofocus for Canon EF lenses?
Automatic extension tubes feature electronic contacts that transmit data between your camera body and lens, allowing for autofocus and auto-exposure functions. This specific Fotodiox model is a manual version, requiring manual adjustments for both focus and aperture.
Would you like to know which camera lenses work best with this extension tube set?
Standard prime lenses, such as a 50 millimeter lens, or short telephoto lenses work exceptionally well with extension tubes. They provide a noticeable boost in magnification for close-up shots while maintaining a manageable working distance.
Can these extension tubes be used with any Canon camera?
These extension tubes are compatible with all Canon EOS cameras that utilize EF and EF-S mounts, including both digital DSLR models and traditional film cameras.
Are these Fotodiox extension tubes authentic and imported from the USA?
Yes, this product is an authentic USA-imported item sourced directly to ensure you receive genuine manufacturer quality for your photography equipment needs.
Do these extension tubes degrade image sharpness?
No, because these tubes contain zero optical glass elements, they do not introduce distortion or alter the original optical characteristics of your attached lens.
