FAQs
What is a weighted lap blanket good for?
A weighted lap blanket provides deep touch pressure therapy, which helps calm an overactive nervous system, lowers anxiety, and increases body awareness. It is highly effective for helping children settle down, focus during schoolwork, or stay relaxed during stressful travel environments.
Are weighted blankets safe for kids?
Yes, weighted blankets and lap pads are safe for children when used correctly and under adult supervision. The user must always be strong enough to lift the weight off themselves independently, and it should never cover the child's head or face.
Can my 7 year old sleep with a weighted blanket?
A seven-year-old child can safely use a weighted blanket or lap pad provided the product weight is appropriate for their body mass, typically recommended to be around ten percent of their body weight plus one or two pounds. Always monitor your child to ensure comfort and freedom of movement.
Is this Friendly Cuddle weighted lap pad an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is a one hundred percent authentic Friendly Cuddle product sourced directly from premium suppliers in the USA. Dropy India ensures that Indian consumers receive genuine international personal care and wellness products delivered safely to their doorstep.
