FAQs
What canister filter model are you using?
This 12/16mm tubing is designed to fit any canister filter model that utilizes standard 12mm internal diameter and 16mm outer diameter hose connections. Always check your specific filter manual to confirm compatibility with 12/16mm accessories.
What is the tank size for this tubing?
The 3-meter length provides ample hose line for standard medium to large aquarium setups, typically ranging from 60 liters to over 300 liters. It offers enough flexibility to route water from the tank to a filter placed inside a cabinet underneath.
Is this hose material safe for saltwater aquariums?
Yes, this professional aquarium tubing is constructed from non-toxic, chemical-resistant materials that are perfectly safe for both freshwater aquariums and delicate marine or reef environments.
Is this FZONE aquarium tubing an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic FZONE product imported directly from the USA. Dropy sources all products directly from trusted US suppliers to ensure Indian hobbyists receive genuine, high-quality aquatic equipment.
Does the grey color prevent algae growth inside the tube?
While no clear or tinted tubing can completely stop algae growth if exposed to light, the neutral grey color helps mask the visibility of internal biofilm, debris, and algae buildup much better than clear hoses.
