Description
The Gallopoff Summer Horse Fly Sheet provides a professional-grade modular defense system designed to safeguard your horse during warm weather. Crafted from a high-density, lightweight polyester scrim fabric, this equine rug ensures maximum airflow across the skin to prevent seasonal overheating while actively reflecting harsh UV rays.
This specialized fine mesh weave acts as a superior physical barrier that blocks environmental irritants, providing much-needed sweet itch relief and an effective biting defense against insects. Tailored specifically for active stable and pasture turnout, the sheet features deep shoulder gussets that allow completely unrestricted freedom of movement when your horse is running or rolling.
The versatile design includes a detachable neck cover and a removable underbelly wrap, letting you easily customize the level of full-body coverage based on daily insect pressure. Reinforced edges, secure-fit closures, and an oversized tail flap deliver lasting durability and a stable-to-field shield that keeps your horse clean, comfortable, and protected all season long.
How to use
- Place the main fly sheet over your horse's back, aligning the deep shoulder gussets.
- Fasten the adjustable double front closures and secure the removable underbelly wrap for a snug fit.
- Attach the modular neck cover via the secure hook-and-loop fasteners if full coverage is required.
- Regularly check straps to ensure the sheet remains securely positioned during active stable or pasture turnout.

FAQs
What is the best way to determine if a 78 inch fly sheet fits my horse?
Measure your horse from the center of the chest, along the side of the barrel, to the furthest point of the rump. If this measurement matches or is close to 78 inches, this sheet will provide an optimal and secure fit.
Can this fly sheet be used for both stable and pasture turnout?
Yes, its versatile construction makes it highly effective for both environments. The durable mesh protects against pasture insects while keeping your horse dust-free inside the stable.
How does the modular neck and belly design benefit sensitive horses?
The detachable neck cover and removable belly wrap allow you to adjust coverage based on daily pest pressure. This flexibility ensures target protection for sensitive areas prone to sweet itch and insect irritation.
