Description
Achieve superior sound quality for your home audio setup with the Gearit 16 Gauge Outdoor Speaker Wire. Engineered for versatility and durability, this 100-foot cable is the ideal choice for connecting speakers in patios, gardens, backyards, or custom indoor home theater installations.
At its core, the cable features high-purity, 99.9% oxygen-free copper conductors. This advanced material composition is designed to minimize signal loss and prevent corrosion, ensuring your audio signal remains clear and consistent over long cable runs.
The wire is encased in a robust, UV-resistant PVC jacket, specifically built to withstand exposure to harsh sunlight, moisture, and environmental elements when buried directly in the ground. Safety and compliance are central to this design; the cable carries a UL CL3 rating, making it officially certified for safe in-wall and in-ceiling routing, providing peace of mind for permanent, professional-grade installations.
Whether you are building an immersive outdoor entertainment space or upgrading your interior surround sound system, this 16 AWG cable provides the structural integrity and electrical performance required for high-fidelity audio delivery. The two-conductor design includes color-coded identification, allowing for simple polarity management during your setup process.
How to use
- Measure the required length from your amplifier to each speaker location.
- Strip approximately 0.5 inches of the PVC jacket from the ends of the wire.
- Connect the positive and negative ends to the corresponding terminals on your amplifier and speakers, utilizing the color-coded insulation to maintain correct polarity.
- For permanent installations, the wire can be laid in trenches for direct burial or routed through interior walls per local electrical safety standards.
