FAQs
Is a water mat good for tummy time?
Yes, a water mat is excellent for tummy time as it provides a responsive, fluid surface that helps develop neck, shoulder, and core muscles. The movement of the floating internal shapes also provides visual stimulation that encourages babies or pets to stay engaged for longer periods.
What to fill tummy time water mat with?
You should fill the outer ring with air to provide structural support and a comfortable boundary. The inner chamber should be filled with cool or lukewarm tap water, taking care not to overfill it so the internal elements can still move freely when pressed.
How do you get rid of the initial plastic smell from the PVC?
Because the mat is made of brand new, durable PVC, it may have a temporary plastic odor upon opening. Simply unpack the mat and leave it outdoors or in a well-ventilated space for a few hours, and the smell will completely dissipate before your pet's first use.
Is this genkasar water sensory play mat available as an authentic USA import in India?
Yes, this product is an authentic USA import. At Dropy, we source our inventory directly from authorized suppliers in the USA to ensure Indian pet parents receive genuine, high-quality international pet care essentials.
Can this play mat withstand sharp cat or dog claws?
This upgraded mat features a thickened PVC construction designed to handle standard pet play and scratching. However, it is not completely puncture-proof against aggressive chewing, so it is highly recommended to trim your pet’s nails before allowing them onto the mat.
