FAQs
What can I put on my sofa to stop my cat from scratching it?
You can apply a self-adhesive cat scratching mat directly onto your sofa corners or armrests. This provides a designated, satisfying texture for your cat to scratch while fully protecting your fabric upholstery from claw damage.
What kind of material will cats not scratch?
Cats generally avoid smooth, tightly woven, or slippery fabrics like velvet, microfiber, and faux leather. Adding a heavy-duty protective felt mat over attractive scratching zones redirects their behavior safely.
What tape will keep cats from scratching furniture?
Double-sided training tape can deter cats due to its sticky feel, but a full-coverage self-adhesive scratching pad is a more durable solution that satisfies their scratching instinct without ruining your decor.
Is the Giomre Cat Scratch Mat authentic and available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic USA-imported pet care product. Dropy sources these premium cat scratch mats directly from authorized distributors in the USA, ensuring genuine quality for pet owners in India.
Can this scratching mat be used on painted plaster walls?
It is recommended not to paste the strong self-adhesive backing directly onto plaster or painted walls, as removing it may damage the paint. Instead, secure it to cat trees, wooden panels, or fabric furniture.
