Product details
Description
The Gionatio Aquarium Safety Switch is an essential backup device designed to prevent catastrophic water overflows in your aquatic environment. Specifically engineered to intervene when standard Auto Top Off systems fail, this high water level power-off switch acts as an automatic guardian for both saltwater and freshwater fish tanks.
The system operates by utilizing a highly sensitive submerged sensor probe that continuously monitors the aquarium or sump water line. The moment the water rises to a critically high level, the intelligent control box instantly cuts power to the connected water pump, halting the flow immediately.
Featuring a robust 350W maximum load capacity on a reliable 110V system, it provides peace of mind for hobbyists managing complex reef setups or standard aquariums. This heavy-duty controller ensures that malfunction or stuck float valves do not lead to messy living room floods or dangerous salinity drops, keeping your aquatic inhabitants safe and your home protected.
How to use
- Position the sensor probe inside your aquarium or sump at your designated maximum safe water height line using the mount.
- Plug the control box into your main power source, then plug your water pump or auto top off system directly into the standard outlet on the Gionatio control box.
- Ensure all wires have a proper drip loop to prevent moisture from reaching the electrical socket.
