Description
GlasGarten Bacter AE is a premium German-engineered micro powder water additive specially formulated to optimize the ecosystem of freshwater shrimp aquariums. This advanced water treatment introduces vital microorganisms, amino acids, and essential enzymes into the tank environment, dramatically improving overall water quality.
It functions by rapidly developing a rich, nutrient-dense layer of biofilm, which serves as a constant, protein-rich food source crucial for the survival and healthy development of young shrimplets and adult shrimp alike. Additionally, the included probiotic bacterial cultures exist in a resting state and activate instantly upon contact with water, helping to regulate the digestive tracking of your aquatic pets, boost nutrient absorption, and safely eliminate harmful waste substances from the water column.
Perfect for hobbyists looking to maintain a balanced, flourishing microclimate in their specialized shrimp tanks.

FAQs
What is Bacter AE used for?
Bacter AE is used as a specialized water additive for freshwater shrimp aquariums to promote the growth of a healthy biofilm and beneficial microfauna. It introduces vital microorganisms, amino acids, and enzymes that improve water quality and provide a constant, nutrient-rich food supply for young and adult shrimp.
Is Bacter AE safe for fish?
Yes, it is perfectly safe for fish and other aquatic inhabitants when used according to the recommended dosage. The beneficial bacteria and enzymes support the overall biological balance of the entire aquarium ecosystem.
Does Bacter AE cause algae in the aquarium?
It does not cause algae blooms when dosed correctly. However, because it is a highly concentrated nutrient powder, overdosing can lead to an excess of nutrients in the water, so it is best to start with a lower dose and monitor your tank.
