FAQs
What size frame for an 8x10 print with mat?
An eight by ten inch frame is designed to hold an eight by ten inch mat or photograph. If you are using a mat with a smaller opening, such as a four by six inch display window, the outer dimensions of the mat will still match the eight by ten inch frame size.
What mat is best for black and white photos?
White or neutral-toned mats with a clean white core work exceptionally well for black and white photographs. They provide high contrast and draw the viewer's eye directly into the tones and details of the image without distraction.
What size frame is a 8x10 photo?
An eight by ten inch photo requires a frame with dimensions of at least eight by ten inches. Using a picture mat allows you to fit smaller photos, such as four by six prints, neatly inside an eight by ten inch frame.
Are these picture mats authentic USA imports available in India?
Yes, these authentic Golden State Art picture mats are genuine USA-imported products. Dropy sources them directly from the United States to ensure reliable quality for customers in India.
Do these picture mats include backing boards?
No, this specific ten-pack includes only the pre-cut picture mats and does not come with backing boards or frames, allowing you to pair them with your preferred framing materials.
