Product details
Description
Transform the acoustic performance of your guitar with the advanced TUSQ compensated saddle. Engineered from a specialized synthetic polymer, this bridge component efficiently transfers string vibrations to maximize resonance and projection.
It delivers a rich acoustic tone highlighted by crystal-clear, bell-like high frequencies and deep, open low frequencies, providing a noticeable boost in harmonic content and sustain. Designed specifically for six-string steel-string acoustic guitars requiring a 3-inch length, its precise compensation step significantly improves intonation and tuning accuracy across the entire fretboard.
Unlike natural bone or ivory, this uniform man-made material eliminates hidden dead spots, ensuring consistent quality note after note. It can also be easily filed or sanded for a customized, snug fit tailored to your specific instrument setup.
How to use
- Remove your guitar strings and take out the existing bridge saddle from the slot.
- Measure the height and length of the new TUSQ saddle against your old one.
- Use fine sandpaper or a file to adjust the height and thickness if necessary for a snug fit.
- Place the saddle back into the bridge slot, reinstall your strings, tune up, and set your action.
