Plain
This simple radio really took me back to the days before home internet and streaming services. Which is exactly why I got it. I bought this when a certain wifi speaker from a large online retailer kept timing music out for my nonverbal kid. The sound is great. The reception is clear. The operation is simple. The battery use is less than expected. Its compact and would be great for camping. This radio even looks like high tech in 1997. Plus I get to be a dork and listen to the weather forecast. If you're looking for a time tested form of entertainment get one of these.

This is a excellent radio. It is little, straightforward to carry in pocket
I love my AM/FM radio. The noaa is boring.I wonder if there is a way that I can use a Bluetooth connection to the radio so that I could use earbuds?I enjoy listening to a.m. radio announcement of a ball game as opposed to listening to a TV announcer. I can easily turn the sound down when they start doing commercials.

Good benefit
The quality is better than I expected. Build quality, reception and sound quality are all pretty good. The size makes it handy and easy to take anywhere. Weatherband has a good strong signal. The tuning indicator is a bit off from the channel but it's close enough to be functional. I'm glad I went analog instead of digital for tuning. Might get another to add to the emergency kit in the jeep.
