Great multifunctional radio. Highly Recommend
This is the perfect little, multifunctional radio.High quality for a low price.Comes in a nice quality, water tight cushioned carrying case.Easy to understand instructions. It is nice and small, light weight and has a nice quality carrying strap.Weather radio, am, fm and shortwave radio with Bluetooth.I am very impressed with the sound.Built in battery and usb port, make it easy to charge your phone. The radio will power on with type c charge ( cable included) solar or crank.Features a compass and an sos button that works whether the radio is on or off and the siren is super loud. Also has a very nice and bright flashlight. The display lights up as well.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this radio and would highly recommend it.It will be used in my shop, to listen to music, since the sound is so great and of course for emergencies, should they arise. It will be nice to listen to weather alerts during tornado season.

Works for what I need
I've bought a few of these for our house a lot of years ago, put batteries from the dollar store in them, and the kids and I use them daily inside and outside. Two things you'll want to know: don't keep them in the bathroom, the shower humidity will break them. I rarely have to change the batteries though. Whenever all the stations suddenly only get static, that just means it's time to change the batteries- do not throw it away appreciate I did with my first one before I realized it!! I AM FOND OF THEM!

Good Shopper Assistance. Nice item
This is the second radio that I tested after needing to replace my highly aged, trusty GE portable radio (after dropping it far too a lot of times, I finally broke the antenna for good, and the grasp) . See my review on that one.I did a lot of research on portable radios, looking for one that had outstanding reception. The first one was Sony ICF38 Portable AM/FM Radio (Black) which I HATED. I will only apply it on batteries, so this allows it to have a smaller proportions since you don't need storage for the cord.No Grip: I thought this was going to be a big problem for me. Another plus is it also will fit in my facade jeans pocket for those times that my hands are full. This radio has exceptional reception. Matches easily in your hand for carrying. I didn't want to spend much due to the fact I only use this radio on Sundays for Green Bay Packer broadcasts, and depending on the sync with the TV broadcast, I need to change the station to find the one that is closest in sync. Was never planning to spend $50 on a radio that I use so little, but conveniently it is my birthday and mom gives me $50 bucks so this became my birthday present. Anyway....WOW....this little radio is remarkable. Sadly, my encounter was not good so I returned that. The sound is astonishing and the size is impeccable. Even with the antenna folded down, this pulled in FM stations finer than the Sony radio that I had purchased previously (with the antenna fully extended).I was concerned about the battery life due to the fact of the electronics, and lighted screen. This has made it much easier to lock in the stations that I am trying to tune. Bought the Sony for $25 since of superb reviews. But other owners said battery life was pretty fair. I might just bring this one camping with me for that reason.I like the rubberized surround (the darker colored part) which helps keep it from slipping. I have tried rechargeable batteries in this, but it doesn't seem to am pleased with them as much so I switched to regular alkalines.I had forgotten this radio also has an alarm clock. My ONLY negative is that it doesn't have a grasp, but with it's size and the slightly indented speaker, it makes it straightforward to carry around. Then I went reverse and increased my rate range and decided to try this Sangean. It's not. I am delighted it has the electronic tuning and the five presets for both AM and FM. Nice extra.SOUND: Exceptional sound, and volume is wonderful...minimal distortion when set at highest volume (which I will probably never work with)No AC cord included: Not a large deal to me. Didn't want to spend a lot (wanted to keep it under $20).
