FAQs
What is Griot's correcting cream?
Griot's Garage BOSS Fast Correcting Cream is an advanced, high-load abrasive compound designed to quickly eliminate severe paint defects like deep scratches, heavy swirl marks, and oxidation. It features a silicone-free, high-lubricity formula that delivers true paint correction without leaving behind heavy dust or fillers.
What kind of polishing machine or pads should be used with this product?
For maximum defect removal, it is recommended to pair this cream with an aggressive pad like the BOSS Fast Correcting Foam Pad or a Microfiber Cutting Pad on a Dual Action polisher. However, the system is versatile enough that you can drop down to a softer foam pad to reduce aggressiveness for lighter correction needs.
Can this product be used before applying a ceramic coating?
Yes, this formula is completely silicone-free and contains zero fillers, meaning it leaves behind a true, bare clear coat after wipe-off. This makes it an ideal choice for the paint correction steps required to prepare automotive surfaces for long-lasting ceramic coating adhesion.
Is this Griot's Garage product an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, all Griot's Garage products available on Dropy India are authentic USA imports. We source our inventory directly from the United States to ensure Indian car care enthusiasts receive genuine, professional-grade detailing formulations.
What severity of scratches or swirls is this compound designed to fix?
This specific Fast Correcting formula is the most aggressive compound in the line, meaning it is designed for severe paint defects, deep random scratches, heavy car wash swirls, and heavy oxidation. For minor defects or final finishing, a lighter polish like the Perfecting Cream is recommended.
