FAQs
What is the difference between Siri Remote 3rd generation and 2nd generation?
The primary difference lies in the charging port, where the 3rd generation uses a USB-C port while the 2nd generation utilizes a Lightning port. They also have minor differences in internal hardware weight, but they share the exact same external physical dimensions and button layouts.
Does this silicone case fit the older Apple TV HD black remotes?
No, this specific protective cover is exclusively designed for the silver aluminum Siri Remotes released in 2021 and 2023. It will not fit the older, flat black touchpad remotes or the traditional white Apple remotes.
How do you make the luminous green cover glow in the dark?
The silicone material contains photo-luminescent pigments that need to absorb light to activate. Simply expose the case to natural sunlight or bright room lighting for a few minutes, and it will emit a distinct green glow when the lights are turned off.
