FAQs
What is the replacement flapper for an American Standard toilet?
The standard replacement flapper compatible with American Standard 2-inch flush valves is part number 7381129-200.0070A. The Hibbent universal flapper is designed as a direct replacement to fit these specific valve assemblies.
What size flapper fits an American Standard toilet?
Most older and standard American Standard toilets utilize a 2-inch flush valve and matching 2-inch flapper. You can easily determine your size by measuring the outer diameter of the flush valve opening inside the tank.
Are replacement toilet flappers universal?
While many flappers are designed to fit standard 2-inch or 3-inch flush valves universally, checking your specific valve size and brand compatibility ensures a proper, leak-free seal.
Are these replacement parts authentic and imported for Indian buyers?
Yes, Dropy sources all hardware and lifestyle maintenance products directly from official channels in the USA, ensuring you receive genuine imported quality delivered straight to your home in India.
How do I fix a running toilet using a replacement flapper?
A running toilet is typically caused by a worn-out rubber flapper that fails to create a proper seal over the drain hole. Replacing the old flapper with a new high-grade rubber seal stops continuous water flow and restores normal tank operation.
