Works as a DRL (daytime running light), on the whole highly nice initially
I bought these for use in a 2015 Subaru Outback as a high beam. The high beam is also the daytime running light in this model. These do operate with a lower output in DRL mode, then they increase to full power when used to flash oncoming drivers or as high beams at night. Light output is very good, color appears to be a clean white to me and there were no errors in the vehicle. I can't comment on longevity since I just installed the bulbs.

Superb buy, worth the funds
Love them, best bulbs I've ever purchased on more than one vehicle. Everyone says they're the brightest bulbs they've ever seen. People often think I have my brights on even though I don't. They really make a huge difference and make driving much safer, they also last much longer than the other exspensive brands, I know from personal experience. These truly are worth the money.

Goes well a 2006 Subaru Outback low beam
Pretty simple to install, just make sure the connector polarity is correct + - if you reverse the polarity the light simply won't come on. The leads of the light are marked positive negative, positive + connects to the red wire on your headlamp housing.These fit a 2006 Subaru Outback low beam headlight housing, while the large capacitor packs attached to the LED bodies are pretty good size, they will still fit inside the sealed housing of the lens assembly on the car, the little fans cooling the diodes are loud enough to hear but absolutely necessary to cool the lights as they get HOT. Significant light improvement over the H7 incandescent bulbs. Finally, I can see with confidence at night while behind the wheel on the dark mount Roads. Modern tech in a 20 year old car, gotta compete with all the new obnoxious lights on modern lifted pickups that blind me from oncoming traffic.
