Description
Revive your classic handheld gaming console with the Hisewen replacement power kit, designed specifically for the original Sony PSP Fat series. Perfect for retro gaming enthusiasts in India who want to restore their console to its peak performance, this premium kit ensures you never have to cut a gaming session short due to a dying battery. The kit includes two high-capacity lithium-ion cells that feature advanced circuitry to prevent memory effect loss, meaning you can top up your charge at any point without degrading overall capacity.
Alongside the twin power packs, the bundle features a dedicated desktop charging dock equipped with a smart LED indicator system to provide visual updates on your charging progress. It takes just two and a half hours to bring a completely drained cell back to maximum power. Engineered for safety and built to match strict international production standards, this replacement set also includes a vital bonus component: a custom-molded battery compartment door cover.
This ensures a secure, flush fit inside older console chassis that may have lost their original back plates over the years.
How to use
- Insert one of the lithium-ion batteries into the slot of the LED desktop charger station.
- Connect the charging cradle to a standard USB power source using the input port.
- The integrated LED indicator light will reflect the current charging status and switch off or change color when full power is achieved after approximately two and a half hours.
- Slide the fully charged battery into your compatible Sony PSP Fat console compartment, ensuring correct alignment of the metal terminal pins.

FAQs
Does the PSP 1000 battery work on 1001?
Yes, it works perfectly. The 1001 model is simply the regional designation for the North American version of the original Sony PSP 1000 series, which shares identical internal hardware, battery compartment dimensions, and voltage requirements.
Can I use a PSP 2000 battery on a PSP 1000 console?
No, you cannot use a battery meant for the newer models in the older console. The newer slim and lite series batteries have a lower physical profile and a lower capacity rating, which prevents them from making proper electrical contact or fitting securely inside the larger housing of the original fat series.
How long does it take to fully charge a battery with this charging station?
It takes approximately two and a half hours to fully replenish a depleted battery pack using the included fast charging dock. The smart LED light display built into the dock station will provide clear updates on the overall charging progress.
