FAQs
How do I measure my turtle or tortoise for the correct harness size?
To ensure a secure fit, use a flexible measuring tape to measure the total body circumference or girth around the middle of your pet's shell. Choose the size that corresponds to your pet's measurements to prevent them from slipping out during walks.
Will the leather shield hurt or scratch my turtle's shell?
No, the protective shield is crafted from soft, lightweight leather designed specifically to cushion the shell. It prevents the nylon straps from rubbing directly against your reptile's body, ensuring maximum comfort during outdoor activities.
Can this harness be used for other small reptile pets or lizards?
Yes, this versatile adjustable harness is also suitable for small reptiles like bearded dragons and large lizards, provided their body circumference aligns with the specified size dimensions.
