Good quality compostable gallon zip seal bags.
These bags are great. They are fully compostable (apparently except the zip seal part) and are thick and high-quality enough that you don't have to worry about them ripping at the time. The zip seal is good quality as well. It is easy to open the bags or seal them back up without any struggle. The boxes have easy openings as well to get the bags one-by-one super easily. Cons: The only negative point about these bags is the fact that they are more than double the price of normal zip bags of other brands. Overall, these bags are great to replace your plastic zip bags and I would totally recommend them.

Great for camping or any trip in the outdoors
I have had no issues with these working as well as regular plastic ziplock bags. It's a small thing you can do to prevent some of the tons of plastics we have going into landfills. I would recommend using these if you go someplace camping or hiking, as you know that if you accidentally leave one behind, you're not leaving plastic waste at least and eventually it will compost. I also love that these are food safe!

A good quality biodegradable/ compostable Ziplock-like bag for my kitchen composting / leftovers …
In this state, composting is on the books, the law books. We can't put any food scraps, except for bones, in the regular garbage, but must put them in our own compost pile. If not, we have to take our scraps to a transfer station. These 1-gallon Ziplock-like bags are biodegradable / compostable and perfect for my needs. These are perfect for storing some of my foods and they will totally compost within 180 days instead of a thousand years. Admittedly, I use a lot of actual Ziplock bags, which aren't at all eco-friendly. Usually, I get green bags for my composting, which let people working with them know they're biodegradable, as are these. The recycling facility is familiar with a wide variety of bags. The "look" is distinctive and these are easily identifiable. I recently was given some holiday treats in a smaller bag such as these so know they are coming out on the market. They are pricey, however, the cost of not using them is higher. These 1-gallon bags are thick enough, but still can be easily punctured if I'm not careful. These are BPA-free and can hold a lot of leftovers. I still have plastic on hand, but prefer to use these because I know they probably will eventually be heading to a large composting area. They are certified compostable by the BPI, which is a certification I'm familiar with. DIMENSIONS: 10.75" x 10.56"

Terrific zip seal bags that are also good for the planet...
THE GOOD: --------------- * You get 50 bags in this bundle, they are about 10.75"x10.50". * Versatile... can be used to store food, snacks on the go, etc. * The difference is that these bags are compostable... good for the earth. * BPA free. * The zip part is also compostable, but they advise you to cut that part out for optimal composting. THE BAD: ------------ * Nothing so far. 5-Stars!
