Perfect size for 2 and 3 year olds
I purchased this easel for my two great-nieces. I enjoyed the fact that it is durable, adjustable, and with well-made boards. Be sure and SCORE the plastic with either your fingernail, behind and forth a couple times, or employ a plastic implement for scoring. As I was getting ready to purchase, I read the reviews and noted some problems that others seemed to have. 2) Chalk was like crayons. Let me address those here. -No, pay close attention to where the screws are placed. 3) Plastic does not tear off well. -The chalk is known as "dust free," and does feel like crayons; however as you read the instructions, it says to employ a wet cloth to clean off board, and it actually gives nice hue to chalkboard drawings. Long and short screws fit nicely in the appropriate places. 1) Screws were too short. - This is authentic, and I was glad I read this review before tackling getting the plastic off. Carefully pull back on the adequately adhered plastic, and it pulls off nicely leaving extremely lovely surfaces.
