    Better Than Expected

    This is a basic foot spa - no heater, no moving massage rollers, and it works great! My only complaint is it is rather loud, but given the low price and results, it's not worth replacing. The results are amazing - 15 minutes once a week with epsom salts, and 3 weeks later all of my rough skin and calluses are gone!

    The Homedics Bubble Mate is perfect for a relaxing foot bath at home. The bubbles and massage nodes feel great, and the removable pumice stone is very practical. Easy to use and splashproof. My feet appreciate it, I recommend it

    A useful device for relaxation

    I purchased the Homedics foot bath for a nice relaxing foot bath for my painful feet, as I have Plantar's Fasciitis, and they needed some loving care. The nice thing about this little foot bath is you can rub the soles of your feet on the bumpy massage pads in the bottom of the unit while it gently bubbles water on your feet like a whirlpool treat for your feet. Also, this unit will not burn your feet as it does not heat up the water, and instead soaks your feet in the temperature of the water it is filled with. It made my feet nice and soft. Even though it says not to use if you are Diabetic, ASK YOUR DOCTOR. If your doctor says you are ok to soak the feet if water is warm or cool, you might be able to use this particular model, since it does not heat the water like other units do and won't burn them, since you control the water temperature by what you fill it with. I would add caution and make sure to check the temperature with your hands first though, and not your feet to be safe. The only drawback about this unit is that I had hoped to be able to put some foot soak or lavender or mint scented epsom salts in the foot bath for an added treat, however, the instructions expressly say "NEVER" (in caps, their words, not mine) to do that, because it may cause your unit to malfunction; so if you are looking for strictly this purpose, you may want to look into another model that will allow you to do so, or a just a simple foot soak basin. The disappointment with my intended purpose was why I gave 4 stars and not 5. Other than that, it works well. And I did not find the motor to be noisy like as some claim. the price is right. Makes a great gift for the right person.
