    Better Than Ativan

    I've had a severe anxiety disorder for about ten years, and was looking for an herbal supplement with similar effects to Ativan. This seriously does the job better than Ativan and everything else I had tried for my anxiety. It's a very gentle sedative, when I take it I feel calm right away and I usually feel this way for most of the day, and I'm not groggy or forgetful like I was on Ativan.You can take this three times a day, but after getting used to the effects I've been taking it in the mornings and any time where I feel like my nerves are getting the better of me. Sometimes at night I will take it with 1.5mg melatonin and it helps me sleep much sounder than I do without. I agree with others saying it has a pruny taste; I personally find it very pleasant and I always enjoy taking it because of this.I think anyone with light or mild anxiety will benefit perfectly from this. My anxiety is often debilitating so I've started taking ashwagandha and it compliments the passion flower well. This is a great price as well, so if you're debating I would say just buy it, it's a great alternative if you're put off by the side effects of Rx or just curious about what life is like with a calmer mind :)

    Take it after you are already in your bed

    I bought this product primarily to help me fall asleep, rather than for anxiety relief, and my experience has been quite specific. Taking it before getting ready for bed hasn't made me feel noticeably sleepier, but I've found that taking it when I'm already settled in bed seems to work better for me. I sometimes experience a brief period when my racing thoughts quiet down, making it easier to drift off. The effect feels short-lived, so timing seems to matter in my experience, although results can vary from person to person. The taste reminds me of prune juice, which I don't mind, but I can see how it might not appeal to everyone. I've also read that some people experience stomach discomfort, so it's worth paying attention to the product's directions and how your body responds. Overall, my experience has been positive for my particular sleep routine, but I wouldn't expect it to work the same way for everyone. I also wouldn't recommend exceeding the labeled dose or using it as a substitute for prescribed medication without speaking to a healthcare professional.

    Was recommended by my psychiatrist

    My psych recommended this to help soothe anxiety because mine is very treatment-resistant. It does a decent job, I put a few drops in my mouth before bed and it helps me fall sleep. On days where I feel especially anxious, I mix a proportional amount into my reusable water bottle that's about 1L and I drink it throughout the day. Has it cured my anxiety? No. Does it have soothing properties? Yes. I definitely recommend for anybody with GAD. It also tastes strikingly like raisins lol. Not bad to just pop a few drops in, unlike other concentrates.

    Great product, shocked it seems to help me sleep better

    I decided to get this on a whim after someone talked about it being helpful for sleep and for certain types of energy work. I've had messed up sleep my whole life, so I am quite surprised that this really seems to help me. I haven't been using it long enough to know if it will do so long term, and YMMV. But it has a great taste, I just take a dropper or 2 when I get in bed before I turn out the light. I'm glad I found it!
