FAQs
Are you planning to use this as your primary pump or just for catching letdown?
The Horigen manual breast pump works beautifully as a high-quality collector to catch letdown while nursing from the other side or for quick, quiet expression. While it can be used for relief on the go, mothers often pair it with an electric pump for their primary, high-volume pumping needs.
Are you interested in comparing it with hands-free wearable collection shells?
Unlike rigid wearable collection shells that simply sit inside your bra to catch passive leaks, this silicone hand pump uses gentle, continuous vacuum suction to actively draw out and express milk, making it more efficient for quick collection sessions.
How do you clean and maintain this silicone hand pump?
Cleaning is simple due to its seamless, one-piece design. Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water after every use, and sterilize it using a steam sterilizer or by boiling it in water for a few minutes.
