works nicely for big yards
Bought this brand for the first time. The dual pack is quite practical for covering large grass patches. You do need good water pressure to get the full throw distance, but standard 3/4-inch hose fit without leaking. Packaging was decent and delivery arrived on time.
FAQs
What type of sprinkler head is best for a large lawn?
Impact sprinkler heads are ideal for large lawns because they cover wide radiuses, typically spraying up to 35 to 45 feet, and offer adjustable 360-degree rotation to efficiently irrigate expansive outdoor areas.
What are the disadvantages of impact sprinklers?
Impact sprinklers generally require higher water pressure to operate effectively and produce a clicking or pulsing sound during rotation, which some users may find noisy close to living areas.
How many sprinklers for 1 acre?
The number of sprinklers needed for one acre depends heavily on your available water pressure and flow rate, but high-impact sprinklers covering large radiuses typically require multiple zones or repositioning to ensure complete coverage.
