Does not fit lighters with design wraps. It will rip those. However, it holds nice and firm to standard bic lighters. I attached mine to a necklace chain and lobster claw to make a pocket chain. No more lost lighter! I do wish the keyring attachment was on the other side of the lighter, but once you get past that learning curve this is just fine. Doesn't smell like a weird cheap metal or leave my hands feeling or smelling weird. Coating is nice, difficult but not impossible to scratch.
