These patches work for me...
... and I'm pleased that the level of pain relief is almost that of some prescription--and possibly addicting-- medications. I find that the menthol in the patches is soothing and pleasant. There are days when nothing seems to help; however, these patches do a decent job of making the pain at least tolerable and they last for several hours of the day. I always try to keep 1 or 2 packages on hand because they work and are easy to apply.

This brand seems to work better than other brands -- delivers icy heat, continues to work throughout the day, the gel surface is comfortable on the skin, and the smell is not offensive (to me it's slightly medicated mint, not so bad).
