Has a scent of menthol and citrus blend
This is a nice roll on. I am waiting on a kneee replace and am in constant pain. This helped subside the pain to a much more tolerable level. It didn't take the pain completely away but it helped. Application is so easy. Perfect size roll on for the hand. Feels cold when you first apply and then warms area up. Kept pain at a low level for many hours. I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend for mild to moderate pain.

Much needed update to the old classic scent
I have been using this brand for many years. It works very well for pain management. It's easy application and the packaging is very convenient in many ways. That being said, I was extremely excited that a new scent option was available because up until this point there has really only been one iconic, Icy hot fragrance. The smell definitely still exists from the classic variant, but there is an added layer of citrus. I really like that just because it's more refreshing and gives a good variation. I highly recommend giving this product a try, especially if you like more citrus notes over the menthol notes. In my opinion, it's definitely better than the classic. As far as the effectiveness it's just the same as the good old classic and the packaging seems better because the lid has a nicer design with less texture, but just as easy to open.
