Description
The ID-COOLING IS-40-XT Black is a precision-engineered low-profile CPU air cooler designed specifically for compact computer builds where vertical space is strictly limited. Standing at just 47mm tall, this cooling solution integrates seamlessly into tight Mini-ITX motherboards, home theater personal computers, and small form factor chassis without obstructing nearby memory slots or PCIe components.
It features four direct-contact copper heatpipes that rapidly draw heat away from the processor core, paired with an efficient all-black aluminum heatsink fin array for maximum thermal dissipation. Equipped with a slim 92 by 92 by 15 millimeter PWM fan, it automatically modulates speeds between 800 and 2800 RPM to maintain an optimal balance between powerful airflow and quiet acoustic performance.
This cooler supports a wide array of modern desktop platforms including Intel and AMD mainstream sockets, making it an exceptional choice for builders seeking reliable cooling performance in restricted spaces.
How to use
- Attach the appropriate mounting backplate to the rear of your motherboard corresponding to your Intel or AMD socket type.
- Apply a pea-sized amount of thermal paste to the center of the CPU integrated heat spreader.
- Secure the heatsink assembly evenly using the provided screws, then plug the 4-pin PWM fan cable into the CPU fan header on your motherboard.
