The camera has a incredibly sharp picture and the floodlights are luminous
So i got one of these to use as a test monitor for some RPI and other projects. The mounting standoffs and speakers on the lower do provide some level of protection for the back, but there are plenty of relatively big front mount components that could get knocked off. They're not crisp, but that kind of slim edge is by far the easiest to break, you could easily shatter it if it slid along your desk or got knocked into.On the whole i'm pretty happy with it, but the other reviews saying it's durable and that it has superb viewing angles are pretty off base. If you tilt it down, it stays ok as well. Nevertheless, the viewing angles are awful. If you hold it in landscape mode and tilt left to right, it's actually reasonably good, it stays clear proper up to 90 degrees either way, so that's excellent. Certainly usable in the daytime but not in direct sunlight. I wouldn't apply it as a daily driver, surely not without making a case for it, but for numerous employ cases, it ain't bad. The bigger threat though is the exposed edges of the display glass. Considering the price point, it's about as solid as you can get on Dropy, so it's not a poor acquire. It's a pretty solid deal for the value, it's surprisingly weighty, and the feature set is not poor. More inputs would be pleasant, but it's fine. The image standard is fine, though the brightness is not amazing. What that does mean though is if you have it propped up on your desk, your normal viewing angle is likely to be right smack in the middle of the darkest view of the screen. However, if you tilt it upwards, it fades to 95% blackness at about 45 degrees, although it does come back once you go past that. Absolutely a bummer. If this was going to be my daily driver or a device I used for something I constantly interacted with, I'd be very disappointed, however for testing and light usage, it's fine. While it does feel pretty solidly built, I would strongly recommend making some kind of case for it.

reduce false alarm
Just got this monitor today and hooked it up and was remarkably satisfied with the photo and features, now to see how long it lasts. Would definitely get again. Product info said 50khours, we will see....if it lasts as long as it was advertised to last, it's a good deal in my book.

Programmable Radiant Lights
It performs fantastic for what it is. It is fine that it has multiple inputs so you can plug quite a scarce sleek or former devices into it.Altogether it is a nice deal. The quality is good, the stand is ok, but not great. A low resolution 4x3 monitor.
