Description
If You Care Tall Kitchen Bags offer a sustainable solution for environmentally conscious Indian households looking to reduce plastic waste. These 13-gallon bags are crafted from 100% non-GMO potato starch blended with certified compostable polymers, ensuring they break down naturally without leaving harmful residues.
Unlike traditional plastic liners, these bags are completely polyethylene-free and plasticizer-free, making them ideal for collecting organic food scraps and general kitchen waste. Designed with durability in mind, they feature a sturdy construction and convenient drawstrings for easy tying and disposal.
By choosing these compostable liners, you help divert organic material from landfills where they would otherwise release methane, a potent greenhouse gas. These bags are perfect for those seeking authentic, high-quality imported eco-essentials that meet rigorous international composting standards including BPI and TÜV Austria certifications.
How to use
- Line your 13-gallon kitchen trash can with the bag.
- For best results, use primarily for food waste and organic scraps.
- Empty the bag every one to two days to maintain integrity as the material is designed to begin breaking down.
- Once full, pull the drawstrings to close and transfer to a home compost bin or municipal green waste collection.

Bought on a whim but now a favorite that I'll purchase regularly. Small roll but worth stocking u...
My husband and I LOVE these bags. They're very thick for trash bags and stronger than the more expensive name brand bags we usually purchase. I bought these on a whim because they were on sale (the price seems to fluctuate weekly) and boy was I surprised at the good quality. These fit our kitchen trash can perfectly. We haven't had any problems with rips or leak (like we do with the others we usually buy). They're about 5 times thicker than your average trash bag! The handles are also nice and make it easier to pull them out of the trash can when full.Best of all, they're "green" so we are helping the earth by using them. A definite keeper!

Great product
These bags are a great alternative to regular plastic. People complained about the bags being too small for a 13 gallon can, but as you can see they fit just fine. They don't cinch around the top, so you do have to figure out a way to keep the bag up, but otherwise I'm really excited to have one less item of plastic going to the landfill!

5 Stars FOR VERSION WITH HANDLE TIES ! Dropy switched product code?
The version with handle ties was fantastic, and clicking through from my old order *with the handle ties* brings me to this product landing page now, WITHOUT the handle ties. I will not buy this version, because I cannot get the bags to stay on my can rim (clothespins don't work on my cans). But with the ties, they work fantastically! I'm seeing them at Target now, hoping Dropy realizes their mistake, or another seller brings them back here. TO USE THESE BAGS (preferably with the ties) OR ANY COMPOSTABLE TRASH BAG: Firstly, if you buy the ones with the ties, they *are* a bit fragile to tease apart along the perforation lines. Just don't be in a hurry, or you may rip the bag as the perforation lines are curved, yet you can rip straight off those perf lines if you are not gentle with them. Take your time and tease them apart, and you'll not lose a bag. Then to use them: they are strong in the cans, with my two teens and oblivious husband not yet ripping them and we've been using them for months. DO NOT PUT LIQUID IN THESE BAGS; ALSO DO NOT PUT FOOD SCRAPS IN THE BOTTOM, BUT INSTEAD HEAP SCRAPS UPON DRY TRASH -- just always put dry trash in the bottom, and then if you are scraping a plate (but not liquids), scrape it ON TOP of dry trash already placed into the can, and it will dry out without affecting the bag itself. We haven't ripped one bag at all since using these for the past 4 months. Yes, if they go to landfill they will be sitting there a while instead of self-composting (if buried -- but with sunlight and weather they will decompose around your trash), but when they get enough moisture around them, and heat, they will break down to organic NON-harmful components -- unlike plastic, which will be here for centuries to come.
