  Refreshing but not sticky

  This does a great job of going on my lips, helping to moisturize, covering with a nice color, looking more natural, and looking great while doing it. It is a nice texture that doesn't get weird or annoying, it lasts most of the day, and it isn't "too much". I love this stuff and how soft it makes my lips feel. Pros: Goes on easily Nice coverage Not sticky Moisturizes Lasts a while Doesn't take a lot to go on Cons: Could be a slightly better value

  Creamy, cushiony gloss. Not sticky.

  This is a wonderful, moisturizing lip gloss. It has none of the traits that make people dislike lipgloss. There is no stickiness, gloopiness or stringiness. I think it was a fair value if you have sensory issues or if you have a minimal makeup collection and want a few, curated, high performance products. Quality: The quality is great. The lipgloss has a balmy, cushiony feel. It makes your lips feel instantly softer and they feel more moisturized at the end of the day. I have sensory issues with lip products but this felt totally inoffensive. There is zero stickiness while most lipglosses at least feel slightly sticky. This gloss didn't seem to liquify my lipliner as some do. It doesn't migrate at all. There was some minimal transfer to drinking glasses but it is easy to wipe off. Ilia is known for clean beauty. Most of the ingredients are labgrown so this isn't a natural product if that's what you were looking for. However I don't think it is possible to get this cushiony slip from natural products made with oils and butters. The absence of preservatives bothers me a bit so I will try to use this up sooner even though the label claims it has a 12 month period of freshness after opening. Wear time was decent, but not longwear, and I usually refreshed it once an hour or so. The color wears down evenly. There are no irritating ingredients like limonene, mint or plumpers. Chrystalline shade: Chrystalline is the second lightest shade and it is a pinky nude. It is much more nude than pink and it's very neutral. It looks more nude when worn with brown lipliner. This shade is sheer but still has a good color payoff. It wasn't too milky so it can probably be worn by deeper skintones. Presentation: The tube looks upscale and is made of weighty, frosted glass. The doe foot applicator is dense, soft and slightly angled. The doe foot is kind of small but I prefer that for precision. With this kind of creamy formula a large doe foot applicator isn't necessary to spread the gloss because it's very emollient.
