Gentle, Squeaky Clean Cleanser
This vegan foam cleanser from I'm From delivers a cleansing experience that is unique compared to other cleansers I've used. I don't personally tend to reach for a foaming cleanser but Im always looking for a nice enzymatic cleanser or balm that suits my skin so was excited to try this. I find this cleanser forms more of a creamy mildly foaming consistency on the skin that is gentle on the skin. Upon dispensing this cleanser transforms into a soft, luxurious, slightly dense creamy lather that feels nourishing and hydrating rather than stripping. The texture is closer to a milky mousse with a subtle refined foam.After massaging it into damp skin every trace of the day's makeup, sunscreen, and impurities seemed thoroughly emulsified and rinsed away. To double check I followed up with a makeup remover wipe, and it came away pristine, confirming just how effectively this cleanser performed.However while the deep clean was undeniable, I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the pronounced "squeaky clean" sensation it left behind. There was a not so subtle texture (squeaky clean film-like feel) left on my skin I suspect comes from the inclusion of beeswax and other conditioning agents in this formula). Its an odd texture because it made my skin FEEL a touch stripped of its natural oils despite the fig enzymes and mild alkaline formula and yet my skin DID NOT APPEAR NOR ACT dry or stripped (Im over 40 so its easy to see when my skin is dry or stripped). Having aging combination skin that has skin barrier struggles form time to time, I have realized I prefer a softer post cleanse FEEL than what this provides. That said, I do feel that after 3 days of using this cleanser my pores look visibly cleaner and less congested while my skin shows no signs of irritation, redness, nor dryness. I wish I enjoyed the feeling it leaves because I am quite impressed by this.I think this would be a great cleanser for those with combination skin who prefer the idea of a creamy cleanser yet also don't feel their skin is getting cleansed well if they don't experience any foaming. It is definitely for those who enjoy a squeaky clean feeling after cleansing, those looking for a cleanser to deliver a mild but gentle exfoliation that still leaves their skin barrier intact and even feeling protected without feeling the slightest bit oily or greasy. If you prefer a softer finish that leaves a natural moisture feeling, this may not be the cleanser for you.Overall, even though this isn't a personal favorite, I still give this Korean formulated Fig Foam Cleanser 5 stars because it does excel at delivering a fresh, deep cleanse alone (no double cleanse needed) at a terrific price point with clinically tested results for removing sebum and pore accumulation.

Gentle but quite effective! Smells lovely too!
This cleanser is amazing. It has a very pleasant, mild scent, so it isn't at all overpowering. A small amount was plenty to cleanse my face with.The product lathered up beautifully and felt good on the skin. There was no tingling or any other odd sensation, just a feeling of coolness. The best part happened when I rinsed the product off. My skin looked clean, refreshed, smoother and brighter than before the cleansing. I was pleasantly surprised by the results, and quite impressed. Once I patted my skin dry, I applied my nightly moisturizer. I have naturally dry skin and my face definitely needed the hydration after the cleansing.I also used this on the tops of my hands because they were feeling dry from working outdoors. The skin on my hands looked renewed, and a bit brighter and lighter in color. The exfoliating properties of the cleanser definitely did wonders. It's so mild, you don't even realize it's exfoliating the skin until you rinse it off. I'm not easily impressed with skin products, but I actually loved my results after using this Fig Foam Cleanser.The tube is quite large, so there's a good amount of product. It should last at least the month if not longer. A good value in my opinion.Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and my results. Gentle but effective. Love this!

The fig scent is subtle, more green and fresh than sweet, and it doesn't linger past the rinse.The one thing I'd flag is that "squeaky clean" feeling. After patting dry, my skin feels a touch tight for a minute or two before I get my serum on.
