With the more moisturizing base & texture for cleansing my mature skin. A glorious rich consistency with a golden color of honey, initially with a very subtle & light hue of sweet honey scent. But once you emulsify with water the rich aroma intensifies. With such a luxurious experience, the cleanser creates a rich moisturizing lather. Definitely more moisturizing, with less bubbles as it cleanses. excuse me but the way this actually looks like honey?!?! not "honey inspired". not "golden tinted". i mean if you squeezed this onto a piece of toast your brain would absolutely accept the situation.the first time i opened it i just stood there staring like… are we sure this isn't just honey. did someone sneak into the lab with a jar and call it product development.it's thick. glossy. full golden syrup energy. the texture when it comes out of the tube is basically honey that decided to pursue a career in skincare.then you add water and it foams up into a soft gentle cleanser, which is already nice, but the real personality of this product appears when you use it as the mask it clearly wants to be. you put it on your face and suddenly you're sitting there coated in something that looks like artisanal beekeeper treasure while contemplating your life choices.my skin is dry and fragile and prone to reacting to things with the dramatic constitution of a delicate victorian heir who has just been informed the seaside air is slightly brisk today. the sort of skin that will wither if you introduce the wrong cleanser.so i approached this with caution.but i've been using it for a few days now and my skin has remained calm. peaceful. emotionally stable. no breakouts. no irritation. no sudden betrayal. which in my household qualifies as a skincare miracle.the cleansing itself is lovely. it rinses clean without doing that horrifying squeaky stripped feeling where your face suddenly feels like parchment paper that has known hardship. instead my skin feels soft and hydrated after, like it remembers moisture exists.and the glow situation is real. not in a blinding "glass skin influencer lighting" way, but in a subtle "your skin looks like it's glowing under candlelight" way. i'm actually slightly annoyed that this wasn't gimmicky and that it's becoming a nonnegotiable in my routine.also i cannot overstate how entertaining it is to smear what looks like honey all over your face. deeply satisfying. very medieval apothecary meets korean skincare lab.at this point i am unfortunately attached to it. which is inconvenient because now i must continue purchasing my fancy bee nectar cleanser like a responsible adult. it costs roughly the same as about 2.5 iced chai lattes, which according to the current chaiconomy is basically the price of breathing near a café.✨ tl;dr ✨looks suspiciously like actual honey, works beautifully as both a cleanser and a quick mask, and somehow manages to clean the skin without upsetting my extremely dramatic delicate victorian heir complexion. dry sensitive skin approved. bees would probably be proud.

Gentle cleansing
Lovely face wash that foams up well and yet is gentle on the skin. Removes make-up efficiently and leaves skin feeling fresh and soft. Does not dry the skin, leaves your face feeling moisturised. Has a gently honey fragrance to it and only a small pea-sized amount is needed as it is very concentrated. Did not irritate my skin or the sensitive skin around my eyes. Would purchase again.

I am impressed with this cleanser. Not only did it foam up nicely and thoroughly clean my face, but it left it feeling refreshed. It didn't strip any moisture leaving that "tight" feeling that can be uncomfortable. I even felt like my face stayed moisturized for longer after use. I've been struggling with overly dry skin on my face this winter...I blame the constant shifts in temperature.
