FAQs
What can I put on my couch to protect it from cat scratches?
A self-adhesive, heavy-duty felt scratch mat is one of the most effective solutions. It covers vulnerable areas like armrests and corners, giving cats an attractive alternative texture to scratch instead of your upholstery.
Do cat scratch protectors work?
Yes, they work by physical redirection. The thick 3D grooved felt provides a highly satisfying texture for cats to shed their claw sheaths, which naturally deters them from tearing up the underlying fabric or leather.
What is the best material for couch against cat scratches?
Thick, tightly woven materials like premium felt or microfiber work best because claws cannot easily penetrate them. Adding a trimmable felt barrier layer over your current couch fabric offers the highest level of protection.
Is this imported Inchoco cat scratch protector available authentically in India?
Yes, it is available. Dropy India sources this product directly from the United States, ensuring you receive a genuine, high-quality international pet care solution delivered straight to your doorstep.
Can this self-adhesive mat be safely used on painted plaster walls?
It is highly recommended for wooden surfaces, tile, and smooth furniture panels. Avoid sticking it directly onto plaster walls, as the heavy-duty industrial adhesive backing may peel the paint away during eventual removal.
