  1. Turn on your printer and open the printer cover.
  2. Wait for the print head holder to move to the replacement position.
  3. Remove the empty PGI-280XXL ink tank by pressing the tab and lifting it out.
  4. Unpack the new genuine ink tank, remove the protective tape carefully, and insert it firmly into the black slot until it clicks into place.
  5. Close the printer cover and follow any on-screen alignment prompts.
